On-Call Position

Put your expertise in the spotlight
As a Human Performance Specialist, you will be responsible for human performance services related to training in acrobatic performance, fitness program content, integration of various performance services, safety and risk management associated with human performance (acrobatic content, use of equipment, longer and parer).  You will be called upon to contribute actively to planning the content of specific training programs and long-term talent development (NexGen). 
 
Main responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and application of training programs;
- Carry out medium- and long-term analysis of training needs and opportunities for current shows and new creations, in collaboration with Casting;
- Communicate and implement strategies recommended by senior management;
- Coach artists to foster their development of professionalism and autonomy, and thus prepare them for the challenges they will face when they join shows on tour;

Related responsibilities:
- May be called upon to integrate new touring coaches on a show;
- Travel outside the company, as needed, for periods of up to 10 weeks in support of management services and mandate;
- Use human performance software tools independently (coachmeplus, Dartfish, etc.);
- Determine acro-artistic technical needs related to a specific training request in collaboration with show teams;
 
You possess the following professional and technical skills:
- Eight to ten years' experience in a similar position; experience with Cirque du Soleil;
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English
- Ability to work along and parry;
- In-depth knowledge of the Office 365 suite;
- Excellent communication skills.
